In ICT 10 Quarter 4, we learned about Microsoft FrontPage and how it is used to create web pages. I learned that FrontPage is a web editing program that helps users design websites easily even if they do not know much about coding. It uses a WYSIWYG system, which means “What You See Is What You Get.” Because of this, it is easier to design and edit a web page while seeing how it will look.
Another lesson we studied is the sitemap. A sitemap is the plan or structure of a website. It shows how the pages in a website are connected to each other. By learning about sitemaps, I understood that organizing the content of a website is very important so that users can easily find the information they need.
These lessons helped me realize that creating a website is not only about design but also about planning and organization. Using tools like FrontPage and making a sitemap can make websites clearer and more organized.
Overall, ICT Quarter 4 helped me learn basic skills in web development. The knowledge I gained can help me in the future, especially since technology and websites are very important today.
