March 7 was such an exciting day because we celebrated the 124th anniversary of Ilocos Sur National High School! We kicked off the day with a parade around Vigan City, and everyone was so hyped in their colorful costumes. The streets were full of energy, music, and cheering—it really felt like the whole city was joining the fun! After the parade, the real excitement started—the field demo! The boys went first, starting from Grade 7 to Grade 11, and then the girls followed. Our Grade 10 section rocked the stage with an Aladdin-themed performance, while other sections showed different Disney-inspired routines. In ICT 10 Quarter 4, we learned about Microsoft FrontPage and how it is used to create web pages. I learned that FrontPage is a web editing program that helps users design websites easily even if they do not know much about coding. It uses a WYSIWYG system, which means “What You See Is What You Get.” Because of this, it is easier to design and edit a web page while seeing how it will look. Another lesson we studied is the sitemap. A sitemap is the plan or structure of a website. It shows how the pages in a website are connected to each other. By learning about sitemaps, I understood that organizing the content of a website is very important so that users can easily find the information they need.
