Photo Blog: Coastal Clean-Up Drive

Coastal Clean-Up Drive Last week when we went to Chocosurf, I noticed that there was so much trash around the beach. This was caused by people throwing their trash around the beach. The Young Dreamers Club in our zone has decided to hold a clean-up drive here to help lessen the trash around the beach. So, I have volunteered to participate in the coastal clean-up drive.       We picked up so much trash around the beach, such as plastic bottles, plastic bags, and many more. Every area had different types of trash. After picking up the trashes w e put it in the trash can. We have picked up so many trashes that it didn't fit in the garbage bag we bought. So the rest of it we put it in the garbage around the beach. I hope people will clean their area after eating in the beach and bring their own garbage bag to lessen the trashes and to keep the beach clean.

ICT 10 First Quarter Reflection: Understanding the Internet

In the first quarter of ICT 10, I've realize that the internet is not just a simple tool for entertainment, it's a system with many different parts that work together. The lessons on Internet Access, Internet Browsers, Web blogs and Search Engines have really helped me understand how I communicate with the digital world everyday.    Internet Access is the most important thing, without it no concepts will matter. I learned that it comes in different forms such as wifi at home or mobile date on my phone and the quality of the connections has an effect on my online experience. In internet browser I learned that my browser, is what takes the code of a website and shows it to me in a way I can understand. When ma'am evelyn told us that we will have a lesson about the Web blogs, I mostly thought of them as just online journals. Now I can see that they have a big part on the internet, allowing people to share their thoughts and knowledge through the internet. In t...

Letter to the president

To the Honorable President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, I am writing this letter to you today as a concerned Filipino citizen. I hope you'll take the time to consider what I have to say, as it comes from a place of genuine concern for our country.    Like many, I watch the news with a mix of hope and worry. I hope your administration will bring positive change and address the long-standing challenges our nation faces. Yet, I also feel a lot of worry, especially about the economic struggles many families, including my own, are experiencing. The rising cost of basic goods and services, the need for stable jobs, and the promise of a better future for our youth are concerns that weigh heavily on all of us.    I believe the path our country takes in the coming years will be defined by the decisions you make today. I urge you to lead with a vision that truly puts the welfare of every Filipino first, particularly those who are most vulnerable. I hope to see an ...

Nutritious and Memorable Celebration

This year's Nutrition Month celebration was fun and memorable experience for me nd my classmates. We are excited to take part in different activities organized by the STEP club and TLE club in our school. It was not only a time to promote healthy eating and lifestyle, but also a chance for us to spread awareness to other people about the nutrition month through our jingle and it's a chance for us to bond as a class and show our school spirit.      One of the events we participated in was the food festival. My classmates and I worked together to prepare and sell nutritious food such as; turon, cucumber, fruit shake, and breads. It was fun coming u with healthy foods and setting up our store. We also enjoyed sharing our food with other students and seeing them enjoy what we made. The food fest taught us the value of teamwork and the importance of promoting healthy eating habits.      Another exciting event was the Nutri-Jingle compe...

A Glimpse Into My Life

Hello everyone, I'm Rio Gabrielle C. Pamani. I'm 14 years old, turning 15 on august 29. I'm from Pantay Tamurong, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur. I will talk about my interests, hobbies, and daily routine. What I believe in is to trust my guts because it guides me everyday.      In our family, we are only four and I'm the eldest daughter. I was an only child for 13 years, but then my little sister was born. In the first few months it was hard for me to adjust, but then I did get used to it. During my free time I play piano, play guitar, watch k-dramas, and play with my little sister. I do help my family to do household chores sometimes, and when they are busy, I babysit my little sister. I love listening to music, i feel like i'm at peace whenever I listen to music. I also find peace when I'm alone. I'm interested in playing more instruments. I love spending time with my family and friends. Whenever I'm with my friends I always feel safe and I'm filled w...
