A Walk Through History: Vigan

Vigan is a UNESCO World Heritage City in the Philippines, famous because it is the best-preserved example of an old Spanish colonial town in Asia. Visiting Vigan is like stepping directly into the 18th century . The main attraction is Calle Crisologo , a street paved with cobblestones and lined with old, traditional houses. These buildings are known as bahay na bato (stone houses) and show a mix of Spanish, Chinese, and Filipino architectural styles. They are recognizable by their big, sliding windows made of capiz shells. Walking here is the most popular activity, especially at night when the whole street is lit up by antique lamps, creating a beautiful and peaceful scene. Beyond the famous street, you can visit the main square, Plaza Salcedo, to see the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral and enjoy the nightly Dancing Fountain Show ....

ICT Second Quarter Reflection

The second quarter was a time of big learning for me, especially about how to build things on the internet. The most important thing I discovered was how to correctly use the different kinds of tag attributes. I did not have very many hard problems during this quarter. Everything went smoothly for the most part, but the toughest challenge I faced was having to put in the tag attributes—or encoding them—perfectly. The computer is very strict. If I missed even one tiny thing, like a quotation mark, a semicolon, or a single letter, the entire attribute would not work. This meant I had to sp...

My Teacher, My Hero

The 2025 Teacher's Month theme, “My Teacher, My Hero,” is all about seeing teachers as our real-life heroes. They don't wear capes, but they save our future every day. They guide us when we feel lost and help us find our best talents. Teachers are essential for building a better world, one student at a time.           Teachers’ hard work goes far beyond the classroom hours. They spend long nights planning lessons and correcting homework. They commit themselves to helping every student, even when it’s difficult. This dedication is how they hold our future. They teach us important facts, but they also teach us how to be good people, with strong values and discipline. Every time a student succeeds, it is a direct result of their teacher’s care and effort. Their powerful impact lasts our whole lives.           We want to thank them for their incredible hard work and tireless dedication. This dedication ...
